Stopped receiving sale emails

I have sold a couple of items this evening but never received any "You made the sale" emails from Ebay.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes,  others have been experiencing this from time to time.

This is  the answer from a Community team Manager .

First check  Communication preferences > Seller > Selling activity > Edit > and ensure that ‘Item sold’ notifications are ticked.

If you have selected to receive ‘Item sold’ notifications, but haven’t, try deselecting it > save, then tick the box again > save.

If you are still experiencing the issue after it, please let eBay Customer Services know, and they will report it to the tech team.

Just adding to Tressygirls advice.

Let me know if you tried the steps she advised and still don't receive any mails. There was an issue for a limited number of transactions but it was resolved quite quickly. I'll have it looked into just to make sure its not connected.

This has happened to me.  I've followed the steps suggested and I'm still

noy receiving sale emails.  So frustrating.  Any further ideas are most welcomed

I am having similar issue .My emails just suddenly stopped 2 days .No email about sold items or payment.All the notifications are turn on in my Wbay .Contacted Wbay support yesterday was told it's a bug & Wbay working on it ,but 3rd day now no emails

Thanks for this. I’m going to wait and hope they sort the bug out. It’s frustrating though .

Same problem Sold three items last night and no emails. Payment received according to eBay messages but no confirming email sent. All my communication settings are as they should be.

Hi Dave,

Appreciate this thread is now a couple of months old but I have same problem. Emails stopped since Monday 6th May, nothing received since, despite having made a few sales.

Has this been fixed or is the glitch still out there?

I've tried resetting my notifications but it didn't work.

Hi All,

There is an know issue with BT email accounts not receiving emails from us.  Our tech team are currently looking in to the cause and Ive added the above accounts who have BT accounts to the report.

Ill post back as soon as I have any updates from them.

Not BT here but Virgin , No sale emails but receiving newly listed emails so you have a problem your end.

Just for info mine is not a BT account, it's Virgin Media and since this afternoon now appears to be working again.
Also it was only the "you have made a sale" ones that were not coming through.

Bank payout got through on Tuesday but no other sales which I had on Tue, Wed & Thursday.

Yes I have same problem no emails on sold lots.. just happened in last week . It's making it difficult to send invoices

I have same problem just this last week I ticked all the boxes as required. Still no notification on sold lots or on offers I have made.

Hi All,

Ive had a number of reports where the email address isn't a BT account. The tech team are currently investigating this issue and Ive added the new examples above to the report. 

Ill post back here as soon as I have an update.
