Last night, 16/4, I went to see Blithe Spirit at the Gielgud. It was a wonderful evening and Dame Angela Lansbury really is as good as the critics have been saying. In fact the whole cast is superb. Unfortunately she didn't sign any autographs although she did stop to wave. She had done two shows by then and was probably knackered. I still managed to get Charles Edwards, Jemima Rooper and Patsy Ferran. And Jonathan Pryce was in the audience too.

I really hope this young actress goes onto greater things as she is absolutely brilliant in this play. Unbelievably, her first professional stage debut.

Glad you got to see such a great play, and well done with your in persons. I was surprised to see Jemima is still using the same agency promo pic as she did 10 years ago when I wrote to her while she was in Hex. She is a great actress. Will keep an eye out for the other lass.
