There is UK law in relation to items breaking - consumer rights act 2015 (which seems to relate to the 180 days)

Thanks Redwick1 - yes a US seller - but does ebay not have an obligation for it to be possible to contact the seller about items ceasing to work (which I couldn't)

we went with anyvan instead of silversprint - more confidence in them - thanks for the help - £115 on courier cost just FYI - happy with that

So the seller bit is ok - I am asking via the approved route. The courier bit is indeed optional, but I would want the courier to contact me by phone/txt if needed. Courier would probably want to communicate by phone/txt to coordinate collection and ...
