How did I disable these notifications? 95% of notifications I receive from eBay is pointless ebay spam or requests that I give 5 star ratings

I find my email address is frequently being added to mailing lists of sellers once I purchased from them. I cant find an option to stop sellers doing this, how do I stop this happening? Thanks, Adrian.
