Why do Ebay allow people to have private feedback?

I understand that if you choose to have private feedback you cannot sell on Ebay but thet doesn't hel the seller when this person is the buyer. Are they best avoided? Why do Ebay allow it?

If I schedule a listing as a BIN and then want to edit it to auction, it won't allow.

My main picture isn't showing on my listing, but is there with all the others when item is opened. I've tried deleting and re-uploading the pics, but to no avail. Can't fathom it!! Help please. Many thanks.
