Why did the first 11 results not include the 'plate' term I used? Is it
invisible keyword spamming? Or is it that the sellers of those
non-plates are paying extra to show at the top of searches? Are they
powersellers? Or is something else going on? D...
Ok, so now I've searched Pratt and then went into 'Type' to choose
'plate' but 'plate' is not an option. You can choose Bowl, Cup and
Saucer, Dessert Bowl (!), Figurine, Jar, Jug, Mug, Pitcher, Serving
Bowl, Sugar Bowl or Vase. Or Not Specified. But ...
Further to my single keyword searches last night, I just tried the
two-word search term 'Pratt plate'. The first 11 results under PP&G were
Pratt but not plates.The system is pretty much broken, I think, and my
optimism has been short-lived.
