Can't return an item.

Around April 2024 (a month ago) I ordered some addidass trainers via ebay. When they arrived in the post 2 weeks later they didn't fit, so I logged into my ebay account app to make a return. However there is no record of this transaction (even though the full payment for the item was taken way back on April 3rd). I am unable to make a return / refund.  And all attempts to contact ebay have failed / unsuccessful.  Why are ebay uncontactable? It's not ethical that I've paid for an item via ebay BUT can't open a return process. Who can help?

Is it possible you've accidentally bought as guest or created another account without realising.

If you logged in accidentally using the "continue with Facebook/Google /apple" buttons it creates a new eBay account.

The account you've posted on here with was only created on the 1st April 2024.

Is it your only account?

Try logging in using a browser instead of the app as it could also be an app glitch.
