pick up from miles away and no time given

Hi. I had feared fraud due to someone buying an item for pick up only. They live in a different country but could be travelling for work I suppose. I became suspicious as trying to arrange for pick up they are evasive so not sure. Not sure what to make of this any ideas?

It would be far wiser if they have not paid to open an unpaid case, or if they have paid to cancel using problem with buyers address as the reason. Both these will get your selling fee refunded if you act in time.

You cannot wait too long as you will have been charged the selling fee, and if you get out of time you still pay the fee but no sale.

I can only see two collection items sold and I doubt it is the Tomatoes and your time is nearly up for taking action on the Glassware. If that is the item act NOW.

There's nothing fraudulent about it. It's simply another bod who failed to read the listing and was expecting the item to be shipped.

You have 32 days from purchase date to deal with this in order to get the selling fee credited back to your Ebay account:

1. As the person is in another country, they won't be able to pay (unless the listing is set up to allow international buyers), so you could open an Unpaid Item case, and close as unpaid after 4 full days. The person will not be able to leave feedback.

2. Or you could cancel the transaction ('problem with buyer's address'), which is generally a quicker process, but the person will be able to leave feedback.

Either option will credit the selling fee back to your Ebay account, and you'll then be free to relist. But before you relist, add this person's Ebay ID to your Blocked Bidders List.
