item in basket not purchased

I receieved a payment request from a seller for an item I had never seen. When I checked my account I found an item in my basket that I had never seen, searched for or would ever search for. I had not searched for any items in this category or anything similar. The sale had occured two weeks earlier and there had been no email from ebay to confirm or request payment. The seller has agreed to cancel the sale but cannot work out how to do so. There is no help from ebbay.

There is all  the information you need supplied by eBay ,  your seller  just does not know where to look.

Ask your seller to go right of the item purchased ,  and from More Actions to select Cancel this Order,  they then must select the option....  buyer requests to cancel.
