hijacked profiles

I have a couple of saved searches for cars. Week in and week out the same cars are posted for sale on hijacked profiles. The same photos and literally a thousand or so items posted on the same profile from caravans, jetskis, motorcycles ....you name it. I report them each and every time but they stay there for days whilst the less wary are probably parting with money. How can ebay be so slow to react or even not have an algorithm that picks up the same photo's that get used every time? Certainly does nothing for 'trust and safety'.

Ebay remove and next day they are back, as you say I am sure they could do more, they certainly don't make any money out of the scammers which I would have thought gave them an incentive.

Of course the whole thing would disappear if there were no gullible buyers willing to make Bank Transfers for Non Existant cars. Any potential buyer looking for a car, campervan etc. only needs to look at the sellers other listings to find that they have about 2000 very short frequently one day listings, which should ring alarm bells.

One easy solution would be that all Vehicle and Similar listings required CLEARED payment up front of the listing fees.
