What’s happening to the sign in ? Having to sign in more than once is very annoying

I've posted this on Trust and Safety because it is beginning to bother me that the sign in page is asking me numerous times if I am a robot. Worrying if there are scams afoot ! Round and round sometimes three times - picking traffic lights or motorbikes etc and entering username and pass - what the heck is this all about. Please sort it out eBay.uk it has been going on for too long now.

Lots of sites use this, not just ebay.

It is a security check, so I don't mind doing it.

If you clear cache & cookies on exit or use VPN, then you will asked more often to tick boxes.

I know other sites use the "I am not a robot" check. I get the security reasoning. Don't mind that.
But on trying to sign in to eBay lately, it is the fact you have to do it 3 times - one after the other in succesion - before anything happens. Entering your details 3 times is not the norm. Other sites don't do this - you do it once to access the sites and you are in.

Sometimes you need to look carefully for what item they want,
It can be a pain sometimes, but you should be able to get past it easily enough.

No sorry - I can't get past it easily, thats why I posted the comment/question.
I am doing everything correct - I always do - as I said other sites need only one check that you aren't a robot - but eBay is needing 3 goes lately. Very strange, very annoying and slightly worrisome.

All i can suggest is clear cache & cookies, obviously will have to sign in again, but may help.
