TAKE over paypal by ebay

Hi every-one

A member of ebay has been in touch with me to ask if I have received any messages concerning ebay taking over paypal as they ebay have asked him for details to his bank account so they can swop him from paypal to ebay, I don't see why ebay would ask him as they already have his details, has any-one else been aproched in this way ?

Me myself thinks its a scam but just to put this members mind at rest has any-one else bween asked this ?

SCAM !

No memeber of eBay would be int touch with you for this reason,   eBay would NEVER contact you for any bank details.

Delete and ignore the message, or forward to spoof@ebay.com

Golden rule is to never click on any links in these phishing emails,  this brings you to a fake login and that is where hackers glean all account and password information.
