phishing email?

I just received an email from nuwelcome@ebay.com 

The email welcomed me to ebay and quoted an email username that I didn't set up.

I assume it was phishing but just thought I would check to see if others had come accross this before?

Forward to spoof@ebay.com They should confirm that it is a phishing email, don't click on any links.

Thanks John, I tried to get help from Papal customer service but they have very few agents and the one who answered after 2 hours was not trained

because ebay told me to, Ilike you, I thought it very strange
