Message about item I'm selling claiming to be from NHS worker

I had the following message from a potential buyer (with 100% feedback):

Hi, I am an NHS worker and am currently working on the intensive care unit. Would you be willing to help me with this item to enable me to keep in touch with my family while I am away from home.

I have responded accordingly of course asking for evidence of working for the NHS in ICU, no response as of yet. I don't think the majority of healthcare workers would try and use the current climate to their advantage like this. However if it is the case they can prove it, I will send an offer with a discount. If I don't hear back though what is the route for reporting this? I couldn't find an obvious way of dealing with it, and if it is a false claim, eBay should be dealing with anyone trying to exploit the current situation for their gain.

Thanks

As said bound to be a scammer. Even worse is that if you fell for it they would still have to buy, they wouldn't be able to pay the "discounted" price so you would be asked for email address so that they could send a fake message.

You would not be paid, they want a freebie.
