Keep logging me in to ebay USA and NOT UK, whats happening

Recently when trying to log on I am automatically sent to ebay USA and NOT ebay.co.uk.  It's taking a number of attempts to get past the captcha site, sometimes ebay comes up and when I check my watchlist its the USA site again.  It can take 4-5 attempts before I finally get onto my own account/activity page etc in the UK.  What's happening, anyone any ideas?

I am having the same problem ,have been with ebay 20years now this has started.

cannot find an answer any were regarding this problem.

log out, clear cookies etc then log back in

No problems here. Try a different browser (not IE, as it's no longer compatible with Ebay or any other website). I use Firefox.
