I’ve tried to contact eBay about a refund that wasn’t paid in full but how can I phone them?

I've tried to contact eBay by phoning customer service but it's just a recorded message. Sending me back to the app, which is knowhelp at all. I really need to speak to a person!! I sent items back to a supplier but instead of getting a fullrefundI got a token payment but not a full. Refund. So I did what ebay says. And was asking the supplier to send a full refund, which went. On for months, going backwards and forwards. But now my patience has run out as he has still not given me a full refund and is blaming ebay for not closing the order their end for a refund. That was the last time I heard from him. CAN SOMEONE PLASE TELL ME HOW I CAN CONTACT EBAY! The automated system doesn't work when the system is showing I receive a refund, even though it wasn't the correct amount!

You need to return items for refund the correct way which is to open a case in the Resolution Centre, linl at the foot of this page.

 

It sounds as though you may have returned the items outside a case, which is always fraught with difficulty because you are relying on the seller doing the right thing whereas with an ebay case they would be forced to do the right thing.

 

If you are still within 30 days of receipt of the items open a case for each item now, and add the tracking numbers to the cases.  If not open the relevant cases in Paypal as you get 180 days with them.

Dates and timelines are important and without details and the reason for refund ... Phoning eBay will not change things >>

Did you open an appropriate eBay case within 30 days from delivery date, escalate the case after 8 days to ask for eBay assistance ?? ... To and fro messages will not do it as you have found !!.>

Your only chance of of a successful claim now is to try to open a case in PayPal within 180 days from purchase (will probably be rejected after this time)... escalate within 2 to 20 days and continue case to completion to get your refund >
