I've just left feedback comments for two items and neither of them appear on the seller feedback profile. In a previous thread I was told that this was due to seller listing the item as a 'private listing' and that it should say (although not prominently) on the listing itself that it is a 'private listing'.
I've checked the listings for both items. Unfortunately, I cannot see anything that indicates the listing is private. I even viewed the listing for 'item you purchased' (in case seller has updated the page). Also, checked revision history and searched each listing for word 'private', in case I missed the word due to small or less prominent font.
While sellers can use Private listings they cannot prevent the items being seen any more than they can hide feedback.
It would not much point if a dodgy seller could hide their feedback, and many who use Private Listings are dodgy as it means that the most basic bidding history is not available to avoid making it obvious that Shill Bidding may be going on.
What is going wrong with your feedback I have no idea, unless the seller/s have given up selling and chosen to hide their feedback. As already said it is not possible to sell with Private Feedback.
something really odd is happening with your feedback and it has nothing to do with the items being listed as 'private'
to see if a listing is 'private' scroll right to the bottom
or if there are bids click on the bid history it will say 'private : bidders identity protected
that listing isn't private,
the seller is in India and the listing is on the Australian site, so that might have something to do with the weird way the feedback is showing
if you click see feedback on the actual listing you can see the feedback you left
>> the seller is in India and the listing is on the Australian site, so that might have something to do with the weird way the feedback is showing
yes, but with the other item. She is listed in Australia.
I reckon ebay is preventing feedback showing (except the rating 'neutral' in this case) for particular 'embarrassing medication' items such as the two items I ordered. So, if my work colleagues or friends know my ebay ID, and they happen to be ordering fybogel from the same seller and be browsing the seller feedback, they won't be able to see that I've ordered fybogel from him.
Have you ever seen a seller feedback profile on ebay with feedback that mentions 'fybogel' for the product and a comment?
For other products, we tend to see something like this:
'Very pleased with item excellent seller fast service,
Essential Oil Natural 100 % Pure Grade Uncut From India 10ml /0.3 oz Free Ship (#122735798920)'
Never a comment & 'Fybogel Orange High-Fibre Orange Isabgol Husk 100G sugar free natural drink'.
re: expiry date. with last order I purchased the tubs have manufacture date: 08/2019 and expiry date: 07/2021
Seems he hasn't updated the listing.
