How can we alert ebay to fake or counterfeit goods being offered on ebay? There are masses of them,

Too many fake and counterfeit goods on ebay. Ebay don't take the problem seriously, in fact they seem to deny it happens!

What is the procedure to alert ebay to these crooks?

By opening a not as described case in the resolution centre. If every buyer did so every time then eBay might get the message. They are believed to keep statistics on selling. They most certainly do not deny it happens but have no way to identify what sellers list
