Fake football shirts

I bought some "new with tags" football shirts recently from an overseas seller, (Spain - the country from where the teams were from). Upon arrival I could see that the shirts were fake. They had been sold as being made by "Adidas", "Macron" etc and therefore I assumed they were genuine. The prices were cheaper than in the shops, but were not so cheap that they raised suspicion.

I have not contacted the seller (who has a 100% rating), as they do not accept returns and I think it would be better to report such matters to Ebay so that they can stop people selling fakes on their platform. Unfortunately I cannot see anyway of contacting E-bay directly to report such crimes.

As a fairly new buyer on Ebay, such things put you off!

Does anyone have an email address at E-bay where such matters can be reported?

Thanks in advance.

Unless they were described as fake then they are not as described and the money back guarantee overides any 'no returns' stipulation.  Your issue will be getting a paid for return label out of them.

Ebay don't allow fakes on their platform, but they would only act if Adidas and Macron themselves reported the seller.  They let the MBG deal with other issues.

The seller can't refuse returns if an item isn't as described.

You don't need to contact eBay. When you receive an item that doesn't match the description you can open a case under eBay's money back guarantee, through the resolution centre (see foot of page). To qualify, you must have paid for through eBay's checkout, using PayPal or PayPal Credit, a credit card, debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

A case must be opened within 30 days after the actual (or latest estimated) delivery date, or, if the seller's return window is longer, within the return window. If this had been a UK seller eBay would have enabled them to send you a prepaid return label. This doesn't apply to overseas sellers. In theory, they should pay for the return. In practice, you may end up having to pay for it yourself. Payment for returns is very uncertain and confused when the seller is abroad.

The seller is allowed 3 business days in which to respond. After that, the option will appear for you to escalate the case, if necessary, for eBay to step in and help. This option remains available for 21 days from the date the case was opened.

If the seller doesn’t respond with a solution, or you return the item but don't receive a refund or replacement, escalate it. Follow any instructions and time limits carefully, and don't agree to close the case until you have received your refund.

You could repor it to eBay but fake shirts are a problem not only on eBay..

Go to "More Actions", far right of item on your My eBay Purchase History page, click on Return this item > Doesn't match description, and escalate it to eBay after 3 working days.
