Fake accounts on Ebay??

I bought shoes on line and as soon as i paid for them the account was deleted.. Ebay have said i will get a refund, however i have seen many accounts in different names all with the same fake feedback.. I could list endless fake accounts on here.

Unortunately ebay is full of scammers and fraudsters. They vary in how they operate, some set up fraudulent accounts as you've seen, some hack dormant ones, but they all have the same intention - to scam unwitting folk out of their money.

There is a report button on every listing to report individual lisings, and sometimes this is all that is needed to bring ebay's attention to the account holder.

Sadly they don't have the manpower to police the site and only tend to act when they are reported.

Have you had a refund? What ebay says is not quite what happens. You have to open a Not Received Case with Paypal and escalate afterv days to get a refund.

If you have already received a refund congratulations you have been very lucky.
