Does the community feel EBay do enough to assist law enforcement agencies to combat criminal fraud?

In 2019 I was subject of a fraud. Police investigation determined that the crime was orchestrated by an international criminal group. In December 2020, I detected the same item for sale on ebay with a similar M.O. I reported this to eBay. Before the police could carry out any further invetigation the advertisement was removed. Apparently, for eBay - Case closed! Is this really good enough? Should our eBay organisation not further assist international law enforcement agencies in the detection and prosecution of such criminal groups?

Community thoughts please?

How do you know that they don't assist law enforcement agencies?

I doubt it's something they would publicise or shout about.

As you obviously thought that "international criminal group" might be back - why did you report it to eBay when you should have alerted the police and then stayed quite?

As for your question - who knows as matters would be confidential.
