Hi All,
I sold a faulty vacum cleaner on ebay, listed as faulty but did not list all faults as wasnt aware of them and its the buyers word against mine. The Buyer opened a case against me and i have accepted the return and a full refund once i have recieved and checked the item is present and correct.
I Purchase a return label via courier as per ebay case which cost me £11.77 i have also booked the courier to collect the item from the buyer and arranged a convienient time,
The buyer has marked item as returned even though courier isnt booked until tomorrow and the tracking shows the item has not yet been collected.
The Buyer has today not opened a case on m e with paypal asking for half of the money for the item back. I have a feeling he will try and keep my item and try to claim the money from me also.
and where does that leave me with the £11.77 i have paid for a return courier - which i did pay for via paypal.
I have tried calling both ebay and paypal but just automated messages guiding me to the website and no help at all and to be honest this is making me ill.
I have not offered a partial refund i am willing to return and offer a full refund as i know this buyer will fix and sell my item and still make over £100!
How can i have 2 cases open on me when i have accepted a return?
Has anyone else come accross this?
As well as not possible to open two cases, there is no case for asking for a partial refund.
Stick with, No Return No Refund.
If you have paid for a Courier Pick up then I doubt that you can get that refunded, not like a Postage label which if not used you don't get charged for.
A dispute cannot be open with eBay and PayPal at the same time and one will be closed to prevent fraud [two refunds for the same item.
you cannot be forced to give a part refund.
You can't have two cases open, he will have to abide by the eBay case now it's in motion and unless he sends the item back he wont get a refund.
How do you know he's opened an actual case on PayPal, did they contact you?
