Believe it or not, eBay works just perfectly as long as you keep to the rules.

#1 ... Be aware of the buying and selling rules.

#2 ... Don't try to break rule #1

In other words, read a seller's recent feedback and just walk away (with your mouse pointer) if it seems strange. Then remember the golden rule ..... **If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. So if you see a seller from Taiwan selling a brand new iPad Air with a Buy Now price of £75, inc free postage, step away from the keyboard. On the other hand, if you are selling a new iPad for £350 and a newly registered ID with zero feedback wins in the final seconds and asks you to post it to Nigeria, just say "No" and report the seller to eBay.

These simple rules and a few more like them, will keep you safe.
