pop over to the other countrys chat rooms these days i ca,nt find the little flags anywhere

Go to the home page, http://www.ebay.co.uk/ scroll right to the bottom.

If the bottom of the page is blank, you might see a faint arrow and link "Legal and more". Click that.

On the right hand side you'll see the Union Jack, mouse over that and a page full of flags should pop up.
