My husband works for a company that works for Network rail and he quite often has to work on or around railway lines and he comes home with all sorts of Hair raising tales.  He gets very cross, because it not only puts their lives at risk its the people on the train as well, you can only imagine how a train driver would feel if he hit a car or person they have to live with that for ever.
