Sorry to be the bearer of more sad tidings but Wigsy passed away back in February this year.  I know that all who knew her will miss her kindness, her lovely naughty sense of humour and her friendship.

 So sorry to read this pinks.

Wigsy was so funny and I always think of her if I burn the dinner.  She used to make me laugh about her culinary disasters and her banter with logs and embs and others.  I remember once we set up a rescue mission for someone and acted/posted it out with much hilarity.  Can't remember who we were rescuing, or why, but there were times when I splurted my coffee or drink over the keyboard and undoubtedly wigsy was responsible for some of those!

I would also like to echo what Susie has said, wigsy was funny and such a good laugh, apart from her cooking disasters she was also dedicated to her children what an enormous blow it must have been to them?

I remember Wigwam too. I didn't post much in those days...just enjoyed reading the posts, and she always made me laugh. A very funny, warm lady. That's very sad to hear.

So sad to hear this news.  Wigsy was a darling.  Full of fun and naughtiness.  I picture her waitig for Embsie at the pearly gates with a huge plateful of burnt offerings in her hand.  RIP sweet lady although I don't fancy your chances much if you've met up with Embsie. xxxxx
