I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread like this on here after seeing one similar elsewhere.
I'll start and if nobody adds any more tips I'll just take it that nobody cares and let it slide off the front page. It shouldn't take more than 3 months at the current speed that threads are being added, lol
Do you use SD cards to copy files from one place to another?
If so, you probably stick a Micro SD card (bigger capacity cards with Micro SD cards) into a Micro SD card to Standard SD card adapter. You then stick the card reader, now including the Micro SD card and adapter, into a USB slot on your computer and paste files to the SD card. Then, when you have pasted all that you need, you take the SD card adapter out of the card reader (complete with Micro SD card) and drop it into the device that you want to read or view the files on. This may involve use of the Card reader again depending on how your system is set up.
I found a much simpler way. I bought a Micro SD card reader costing £1.90 (inc P&P) on eBay from any one of a dozen or more sellers and although it may sound like a really small step it makes a vast difference in time spent faffing about with the cards, adapters and card reader. In fact, I have 6 x 32 gb sized Micro SD cards and I may just buy another 5 Micro SD card readers so that each card can have a card reader assigned to it.
ps ..... Does it strike anyone else as funny that a Spellchecker on an eBay forum refuses to accept that "eBay" is a word?
