It's the thirteenth anniversaty of 9/11 and still we see the wickedness of fanatics killing innocent people who don't share their perverted opinions.
Isn't it time an end was put to it once and for all?

If only it was so easy!

One Man's terrorist is another Man's freedom fighter, we seem to live in a "Grey" World now. As I've said in earlier posts, living in an established democracy and having the mindset we do in this Country; we are prepared to accept the outcome of elections, even if only 33% of the overall Country voted for a particular thing. In some other Countries, they'd just kill each other; until the last Man standing got what He wanted....................the answer??..........apparently there isn't ONE that fits all.

Perhaps if we all converted to Islam, some joker would come along and say that we should all belong to the William Shakespeare Appreciation Society and we'll fight anybody who'se agin us.

That's why integration only works so far, the rest of the time ( when the differences are too great ) you just have to live your separate existences and be polite to each other.................from a distance.

Imagine going back to the Stoneage, cavemen could have worshipped a "Ford Focus" ( if one had existed ) as their "God" and had a "Haynes" instruction manual as their Holy Book to back it up..........................WOW haven't we come such a long way as a Species !!

I know it's difficult when people "have faith" but if some effort isn't put in to undoing the lunatic brainwashing, the whole thing will be self-perpetuating.
I've mentioned before; we afford Faith far too high a position. We let people believe that no one should question their faith, that everone has a right to practice their faith and so on.
It's about time we let people know that faith is way down the pecking order! Law, integrity, decency, community, socialisation, education and much much more should come before faith.
We shouldn't be prosecuting people for burning religious books, we should be telling those offended to 'Get A Grip' and ignore them.
We tell our kids "Sticks and stones etc." but we can't tell an adult to ignore insults to their faith!
We shouldn't be tip-toeing around over the wearing of Burqas or Crucifixes, we should tell them to abide by dresscodes or hop-it.
My office will have no problem telling me I can't wear a pair of shorts to work or that I must wear a hard hat if on site. Why are we not telling people that Burqas and Crucifixes are not accepted uniform and someone wearing a Turban will not be allowed on site unless they remove it and wear a hard hat?!
Our attitude allows them to get away with it and we allow faith to be afforded a status way above where it belongs!!!
We need to challenge this status quo!

Religious belief and conspiracy theories come from the same mindset which very much includes ignoring anything that goes against their belief no matter how plain and obvious it is.
An example would be the comment on a video purporting to show chemtrails, which stated people were dying 25-30 years younger than they used to, something which would hardly go unoticed and unremarked other than of course, by the ones perpetuating the conspiracy and yet the fact that significant numbers of people were not dying years too early fails to change their opinions.
Even where their arguments are conclusively shown to be wrong, those same arguments are still used over and over again.

As it's 9/11, there's some repeats of old programmes about conspiracy theories and no matter how many experiements/demonstrations are done to show that what the theorists claim just won't work, they refuse to accept anything which supports and proves the "official" version of events is correct!

As expected there were even more programmes on TV about 9/11 and if the conspiracy theorists have not been convinced of the accuracy of the "official report" by now, they never will be?

They don't want to be convinced, they already are.
Rational people look at known facts and seek evidence to determine the perpetrator, conspiracy theorists decide who the perpetrator was and only look for things that support their belief regardles how tenuous their 'facts' may be.

I am fascinated in the programmes and cant understand how people get over that. Seeing people jumping out of buildings would haunt me for the rest of my life!!!!!. So many peoples lives changed in moments!!!!. Brave people,Sad people,Broken people, Heroes and Heartbreaking Times. I have so much respect for the New York Fire Departments who were involved on that horrific day. Hope it never happens again!!!.
