Well tonight the sky was finally clear enough for me to see the comet Neowise.
There was too much light pollution (a streetlight was 50 yards from me) to see it with the naked eye so I used my binoculars. Looking North West from here also means light pollution from Merseyside particularly with the comet not being "high" in the sky but I've seen it now.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it. Live long and prosper.
That's good, 'cos if you miss it there's another 6,800 years to wait! I may drive somewhere darker in the next few days. What is its approx elevation above the horizon?
