Here's a new game: post song-titles that are only one name. There must be loads but I don't know many!

You can thank my wife for this one: she made me move my entire record collection this morning so she could clean behind the cabinet and I happened to notice this one:
Sally - Anyone's Daughter
From the 1978 album Adonis. Anyone's Daughter were a German jazz-rock outfit - I saw them at Blackbushe Aerodrome in 1978 when they were one of the bands supporting Bob Dylan. Good day out, that was...

*has racked brains and thought of another one*
Michelle – the Beatles. Tres bien ensemble!

Mark - Shed 7

I must admit I thought this thread might have ground to a halt but it's good to see it's still going. I've accumulated a few more over the past week so rather than eek them out and post them one at a time here they are for your delight and delectation:
Dominique - Spike Jones and his City Slickers, who also recorded songs titled Chloe and Laura
Clementine - Tom Lehrer
Grace - Jeff Buckley
Magdalene - Boston
Marigold - Catfish (on the 1996 album Viciously Delicious by the Australian band, not the UK band Catfish, also known as Catfish and the Bottlemen)
Alexander - The Angels (again, the Australian band, who later changed their name to The Angels From Angel City to avoid a clash with a US band of the same name)
Ita - Cold Chisel (and yes that is a name - the song is about Australian TV personality Ita Buttrose)
And finally, though I'm not sure if this is allowed:
Georgia - appears on the 1983 Australian album The Barking Spiders Live. Ok, so technically the correct title is Georgia On My Mind, written by Ray Charles, but the track listing on the album has the song listed with the single-word title. And it's the best vesion of that song that I have ever heard.
I'll let someone else have a go now. I've not been for a run yet today so I may well come back with a few more shaken out of the memory bank...

Here's another Dominique - The Singing Nun.

Crikey, that's one from the vaults! Good call...
I only did a short run today but this one popped into my head:
Ruby - Kaiser Chiefs

Haha, I go back a long way, @thesmokingrunner 🙂

You and me both @*guinevere* - I can't remember when the song came out (?early 60s maybe) but I definitely remember seeing it on TV in my younger days. Your mention of it reminded me of the singing air hostess scene in Airplane! so I watched that again last night. Hilarious. Anyway...
Alexis - Rory Gallager.

@thesmokingrunner Is that the one where the horse was in bed with someone's wife? If it's the same film it was super-daft and very entertaining!

😃
Here's another: Juliet by the Four Pennies.
Lovely song!

Caterina - Perry Como.

@*guinevere* yes, that's the film. One of my favourite comedies. And if you've not seen them you'll probably enjoy the Naked Gun movies just as much.
