I note that Rolf's detractors on here didn't feel the need to comment on yesterday's court proceedings,where former work colleagues of his gave evidence that he was a gentleman, and a pleasure to work with. And another friend of Bindi's gave evidence that he was a really lovely man. Madame Defarge et al gone to sleep? Or gone to buy some more knitting needles ? Seems they only want to hear the attacks...and not the praise. Hmmmmmm.

Astro, yes that does seem the case. It happens with a lot of other people and topics as well.

I saw the comedian Freddie Star the other day (He lives local to us actually) I know he is getting on a bit but the bad publicity and the case against him although he has been cleared of all charges has really taken it's toll. He is a broken man. Shameful in my opinion.

People are going to say things for and against Rolf,,, oh and i suppose its funny you never mentioned about Rolfs daughter denying the fact that she gets off a train and gets in the car round the corner from the courts to make it a nice little scene for everyone when they all get out of the car together!!.. Perhaps we should all take a breath and wait for the jury to decide.  We all have differing opinions and it seems a shame that it is going into name calling.

I don't have any opinion on Rolfe Harris's guilt or innocence but in any trial when character witnesses say what a nice person the accused is, I am reminded how the friends of a wife beater will say what a pleasant person they are and how often neighbours of a mass murderer say they were a polite quiet person who kept himself to himself.

Yes indeed the prisons are full of perverts, thieves, murderers who's character had been described as a nice kind unassuming animal loving person, let's hope in this instance their faith in him is not unfounded!

There is still the possibility that he coud be found guilty even though he is completely innocent, it has been known to have happened in the past.

A mis-carriage of justice would  be something really terrible IMHO.

& the flip side of the coin many guilty ones have got away with it & gone on to repeat their crimes those that have been imprisoned if innocent have the right to appeal!.
