I downloaded an ms. (Manuscript) onto a cd so that I could post it off to somebody so that they could read my work. However, when I tested it on my daughter's computer, it came out encrypted. On mine, it's no problem. Why? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you - I don't want to waste money posting off the disc if the system I'm using is totally different to hers, which it seems to be. She had the same problem downloading an ms I sent as an email attachment. One more reason for me to upgrade and buy a new system once I get some money. Curry's do desk tops - not many, but I don't like lap tops. The keys are too small, ass is the screen.

Ms is short for manuscript - I'm a creative writer. I write short stories - mainly romantic fiction taken from a man's viewpoint! 😄 Contrary to popular belief, not all men are made out of stone. Our emotions run every bit as high as our female counterparts. I have written serious stuff though. I wrote and self published a book on testimonies from Born-Again Christians whose lives have been completely turned around since turning to God in their hour of need - hence my signature. Don't worry, I won't preach to you!
I'm currently writing a full length sci-fi book which I hope to devote more time to once I hit the big Six Five, five weeks from now,. Catch you later, Fred:-)
