What are your pet peeves?

If I get the bus, I find it offensive when people sitting at the back use the seat infront as a foot rest. God knows what they might have tread on outside and other people have to sit there.

I don't mind if people eat on public transoprt, but I've seen people throw their empty food packaging either on the floor on on the seats.

Oh, also people that spit in public view.

People who when making a sandwich aren't content to use the top two slices from a loaf and have to dig down three or four slices - then to top it all leave the top few slices they disturbed standing on edge in the packet.

One irritant that really annoys me will take a bit of explaining but here goes:-

You're looking at an online newspaper (!!!!) and after reading a few things and haave scrolled down the page you come across four news item across the page. Reading from left to right I'll call them 1, 2, 3 & 4.

I see two items I want to read and click on number 2 and read it. I use the < to go back to the main page and find those items have shifted. 1 is now 4, the other item I wanted to read has disappeared and so has the original 4 and two completely different items occupy the other two spaces.

Sometimes I can get the item I wanted to read back by refreshing the page (sometimes a few times) and at other times by using "History". Soooooo, annoying.

Oh yes, while I'm on the subject of online newspapers, the ones that always have videos that start "automatically" are annoying. You have to be quick to click "Cancel" as a lot of them have absolutely nothing to do with the news item.

I use tabbed browsing and usually have 2, 3 or more open. The thing is, it's now and again it catches me out.

CD, do you realise it is a lot more difficult to spell something like that on purpose than it is to get it right, so you must be a really good speller.

A bit like Les Dawson who had to be a really good pianist in order to play as badly as he did.

Another thing that "bothers" me is interviewers, when having asked a question constantly interrupt when the person tries to answer. Sometimes they've hardly begun to answer before they're interrupted. Very irritating.

It seems to me they "want" the person to say what they (the interviewer) wants them to say rather than voice their own thoughts?
