Local elections.

Every time we have "local elections" the BBC removes all their links to regional news sites.

Why do they do that?

Towards the bottom of all regional pages are/were links to newspapers or local news agencies which are/were often more interesting/detailed than the BBC page itself! Why've they been removed?

There's no "local elections" in Wales right now but they've removed all the links from the Welsh regions too. WHY????

Re: Local elections.

Bow down to the masters, what kind of comment is that? The best thing about our political system is that every five years you get to choose based upon the talent that presents itself, as I have said many times on here if you voted for the politician rather than the party you would be far better off! The problem is that we become tribal in our thinking as indeed you have and that makes for the kind of politics we witnessed only a few days ago in London. And of course these days at every election.

Re: Local elections.

Getting back on track to my OP..... During the Peterborough by-election the links to local news outlets were not removed. Why do it for some elections and not others?
