.....coming home?
I'm not a footy fan and have hated the bad behaviour of some hooligans over the years, but I will watch tonight. I am a big admirer of Gareth Southgate and all he has done for the England team, not just in skills and tactics but in attitudes too. Respect to him, he deserves a win.
All together now ....
Good Luck England!
I hope the fans behave well whatever the outcome

Hi Suzie.
We'll soon find out.
I don't think the fans are behaving too well so far.
Theres always a few to spoil things.

Hi Margaret, Yes, already 2 fights outside and elsewhere, bottle flinging and so much litter in Leicester Square I think. Some idiots drinking since 10am I expect.
I have yet to have one (drink) but might hunt down a G&T.
Half way and 1 up, so a chance for us. I hope we win not least because I fear angry fans might take out frustration against Italian fans.

I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching it! What's the point of 22 men running up and down after a ball for two hours and only two goals scored? I expect someone will say that was because they were "equally matched" but they weren't. If you look at the stats there's a big difference between the teams on possession and shots on goal. To have such a game settled in just a few minutes, they might as well have done that to start with instead of chasing after each other for two hours. The rules need changing, particularly the offside rule.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.
