If buying an iPad but the seller thinks it is a UK model, but can't confirm it because he doesn't want to break the seal on the box, is there any other way to confirm? How do we know the charger inside will be a UK plug? Details from the box: http://i.imgur.com/FllVeKG.jpg

Works the same way. It's comes with a USB cable to charge it.
Anyway, if the seller can't tell you whether it's a UK spec it might be a good idea to go someplace else.

The seller could contact Apple support and give them the serial numbers etc. I'm sure they would be able to tell him if that particular model comes with a UK power cable or not.
Although I agree with CeeDee - would you really want to spend that much money with a seller who seems to have so little product knowledge?

Why not change the plug when you get it.. Argos sell things with a two pin plug and it needs changed..

Usually these adaptors have a slide on three pin adaptor, i know my Kindle Fire HD has this type of plug charger type kit.

#9 You are absolutely right, Pete, I totally forgot about that.
We still have a 2 pin plug attachment in the drawer from when we bought my son's iphone last year.
