34 years today we lost Alex Harvey

(He would have been 81 tomorrow)

in 1960 His 'Big Beat Band' opened for a band in Alloa called -  'Johnny Gentle and His band'   that band had another name  The Silver Beatles  (John, Paul, George & Sutcliff)

He was also in residence at a club in Hamburg same time as the Beatles, Alex was the drunk, drug addled Glaswegian in the Beatles stories of that time
