Hoildays - needed one but boy having to cancel all our listings really hurt

We have been doing really great on here for a while now, sales growing steadily, then we did something stupid - decided we really needed a family holiday.

Hearing some horror stories about using the holiday settings and not hiding listings, we decided to end them and go away without any hassle.  Of course it worked in that sense, very few emails and no problems.

BUT, its hit our sales so bad we've gone back to what we were doing months ago, if that... it is just so unfair, you are dammed if you do and dammed if you dont.

Always keep some auctions running for when you go on holiday , and schedule to end them for  when you get back 

it keeps the pot on the boil 

The odd buy it now waiting a few days to psot is not a problem in my book

We only have Buy it Nows.,, but yes it probably would have been sensible to run auctions at the buy it now price to end when we got back.

I am going to call ebay on monday and see if they can give us a boost, this holiday is going to be one expensive break if sales dont pick up soon.
