Now some of the metro drivers are threatening to strike.

with the buses off too it'll be difficult for anyone to get to work.

Goodnight Margie, they all want their heads banging together.

A chap I used to work with use to say "You don't go on strike in the (expletive deleted =ED) Winter. You go on strike in the (ED) Summer. Then you've got yer (ED) stuff out of the (ED) garden. You've got yer (ED) taters, yer (ED) lettisiz (lettuces), yer (ED) termarters, yer (ED) bee-erns (beans)......" and so he went on, running through all the stuff he grew himself. Jack was quite a character but he was right.

Any of those bus or metro workers going on strike now are surely doing so at the wrong time of year?

From what I've been reading about the names most of them are from years ago when it was all country and farmland before there were any houses there.
