Goodnight DC & Margie. Been a day of Sunshine and clouds. The North Coot have hatched at the lake and today the Cootlings were out on the water, there were five.

The Goose and the South Coot are still sitting. There's gonna be fireworks when they all hatch.

DC Sewing Bee starts 27 th April but Joe lycett isn't going to be on it.☹️

Dead on Me legs, is off to bed 😂😂.

It's sounds as though there gonna be trouble cee-dee when that lot arrives....................

The female swan got off the nest this morning because it was so hot here. Nice to see as the male gets very down when he gets ignored for so long.  Although, I do try to cheer him up with giving him attention, along with some treats. It's the only time he's a little more docile. Once the signets have hatched, aggressively protective is an understatement.

Goodnight Margie & DC. I saw all the Cootlings today but not all the ducklings, too many people around. Two young girls scared off the Goose (probably the gander) who was resting on one of the fishing pegs, one by waving her arms at it, the other hit it with a stone!!! People wonder why the Ducks sometimes won't come close but it's always the same at the weekends or when the kids are off school = vandals.

Goodnight DC & Margie. I think it's gone colder tonight. There's been some Sun today but a lot of cloud with a cold wind. At the lake, I saw that all the youngsters are OK and the Goose and the South Coot are still sitting tight. The Waterhens only seem to appear when they hatch their youngsters. They'll be nesting safe on the island. One year, a pair raised six, I wonder where they all went?

It's been a nice-ish day here today, although it has felt very cool at times when sitting outside, even without a breeze 🤔.

I hope that everyone had a good day, and now for me it's relaxation in bed time with the Sewing Bee.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new series starting at 8pm tomorrow 😍😘. Although, there's never going to be another Ricardo. Boy was he creative & have style. His Harris Tweed 2 tones coat was exquisite 😍.
