We've been luck rally re the rain.
Yes Its rained hard but not as hard as it has in some places and we havent had rain upto our doorstep.
We are luck. We live on a bit of a hill and it drains away quickly.

Nice to have a lie in on the weekend, isn't it?

I am good thank you yvonne, it has been raining here
tonight and am very happy to have it as we have had heat
into the high 30's in the last 2 weeks or there abouts,
not fond of the extreme heat.

High 30's - gawd - we've been in the low 4's at night and the highest through the day has been 12:-(

Mind you although it's mid to end November - my strawberries are still producing:-D and they're outside:-D

OMG that's cold yvonne, can you mange to grow those large
strawberries? As mine only grow to the size of grape and
the birds get them X-( So I find I buy more than I grow:^O

suzie - keep a net over them it stops the birds eating them before you do, I don't have that problem and my strawberries are huge - give them a feed every couple of weeks - makes them grow and they taste sweeter -mmmmm

you can get fleece nets to pop over them and the birds can't get stuck in them nor can they get to the strawberries. Just have to make sure they can't get underneath the net as well. I feed all my veg and fruit MiracleGro - works a treat

Morning folks.

I was watching Alan Titchmarsh yesterday (yes i am that sad person) and he said tomatoe plant food is better as it focuses on building up the fruit rather than miracle grow ones which focus on rapid foliage growth. Fruit needs more phostregen (sp) which tommy plant food has. Freaking heck should i move to FHG??? I'll be posting cup cake recipes mext.:O
