I saved a hedgehogs life this week !!!
Can I just pass on what I learn't if you see a hedgehog in daylight for more than 10 mins or so they are in trouble!!!
They think the one I found in my garden had either got lost or came through a hole in the fence and couldn't find her way out, they took her away to be warmed up and fed and may bring him back to my garden or if she is to light to hibernate they will feed her all through the winter and let her free then , so lesson learned if you see one in the day they are in trouble.
