Normaly Photoshop(CS since2009), but on Linux openSuse only uncracked versions work (not because they are part.virtueous, it's just the way it is. As far as free software goes GIMP and Photofiltre is not bad, but very basic. Even My old PS5, which is a genuine copy, only works with pics, freezes as soon as I try fonts. I need to get back to Photoshop. I wanted a netbook for a while now.
Hi Dixie, I now use Photoshop CS5 [upgraded from PS7], there's so much to learn though. I teach myself through on-line tutorials. The pictures I've seen from the experts are out of this world!!

I want to keep using Linux for email etc. but I need Photoshop back, was happy with 5 (since1999, kindly donated real copy)and then 5.5, but since CS it's even more amazing. I've learned a lot over the years (trial + error, tutorials, hints from collegues)but use probably only a quarter of the possibilities. Yeah, on DeviantArt is a lot of mindboggling digital art, most of them amateurs or art students...
