My picture (painting) is of a station at the top side of Morecame bay (Grange over Sands)  still exsists today.

B.R.  (1948 to 1968)  realised about 1960 justafter they started demolishing and replacing stations with their corporate logo of crossing arrows that some of the victoriana in railway stations had charm and deserved mertit.

Grange over Sands thankfully avoided the dreaded passing arrows logo and is one such station. Don't you agree ?
