The night of the largest Perigee moon in 7 decades! - But of course - we have a cloud cover! Otherwise I would see something like the above in the early hours...only brighter and larger...(the view from my bedroom).
Last night it looked quite good though.
As if 2016 wasn't desasterous enough already, it really is now trying to go out with a bang!
After this November I am not sure I want to see December...
The above Leonard Cohen album was actually released in the former GDR.
And although there were so many other roles for Robert Vaughn, I particularly loved him as "Albert Stroller" in "Hustle". The photo above is from the London theatre production of "12 Angry Men" 2014 in London.

Thanks, I am getting better! After working through my cold last week, otherwise they would have been one follow spot short, my boss seemed okay with me having the week off. Hot flushes and then getting cold, being sweaty really making it hard to get rid of the cold, so I am on HRT now, patches only, thankfully, and I guess I will just stop it in 3 months.
