Terribly distressing and tragic, but it doesn't surprise me in the least. After all, it is America. These kind of headlines are all too frequent over the pond.

Their obsession with guns hasn't diminished or declined since the days of the old Wild West.

It really is a case of simple mathematics, if evil carries on taking out good at the rate of 50 to 1 and we carry on apathetically doing nothing about it; the last man standing isn't going to be a good guy...........and please don't anybody ask me what !!

He bought the very powerful Assault rifle and ammo used - Only last week

He works for G4S as a security guard

I also read ( on line newspaper ) that his Father has been a supporter of the Taliban, for many years and actively promotes that group. So that's just one immigrant that slipped through the net, in the good old USA and the result cost 50 lives................best some people think on a bit more !!

This is the Assault Rifle he bought over the counter,

The last mass shooting in the US, the NRA and their supporters, said it happened because, the State it happened in, had far too strict gun control laws, so others couldn't use their Guns to shoot back.

Well Florida has some of the most lax Gun controls in the whole of the USA,

wonder what their excuse will be this time.

Ultimately, we all get the society we deserve and that's no different for the USA.  When these sorts of things happen and STILL there is not the will to change.........then you suffer the consequences. Life is all about cause and effect, decisions and consequences and by keeping your mouth shut; you accept the status quo...............if it takes one of your own to have to die, before you see things differently, sad as that might be; that's what it will have to take.
