Ferguson protests spread across US '

A dozen US cities have seen new protests over the decision not to charge a white policeman who shot a black teenager in Ferguson. Missouri.

Demonstrations from New York to Seattle were mostly peaceful but rioting broke out in Oakland, California. The officer who killed Michael Brown there says he has a ''clean conscience''.

As heart breaking as it is for so many. Surly from past experience, this could have been handled better?  The US has a welfare system, no-one is 'forced to turn to crime to survive'.

And they new opportunists where waiting at the chance.

The number of genuine "protesters" is very small, the rest of them are using it as a cover for vandalism and other crimes.

There's People all over this World, that "Milk" situations and events, for all their worth, at the expense of others; who have a genuine reason to be aggrieved. THESE are the people who are genuinely the enemies of ALL of us and contribute NOTHING to society, or the Human Race. The Black Person who plays the race card EVERY time, even when they are turned down for a job; not because they are Black, but because they are USELESS. The Woman who cries Sex descrimination EVERY time something doesn't go her way, not because She's a Woman; but because She's USELESS. Even down to those who are Invalid, or who have an Impediment, who use it like a Stick, to beat society with; EVERY time they don't get what they want, not because they have an Impediment.........but because they are USELESS.

There also seems to be some misconception, that you have to be "Armed" in order to beat somebody to death. I can tell you from experience, that's NOT the case...........so what do you do? wait until you've been beaten senseless before you react..........it's too late then !! Don't get me wrong, some Police have their own agenda also and those need to be dug out ( becuse they're in the wrong job ); but if you live in a society that has a Gun culture BY CHOICE..........then when a Police Office points a Gun at you and tells you something.........you DO IT...........or get Shot..........end of story !!

I would agree with that, a moments hesitation & there could have been a dead Policeman he wasn't to know that the youth hadn't got a gun & as you say the gun culture of America makes it almost certain that if he had he would have used it!.our own society nowadays is heading that way, where once arguments were sorted with a punch now they pull a knife without a moments thought.

Well... you would think the dead man was an angelic choirboy rather than an enormous thug who is clearly shown on video assaulting a store owner and stealing, he then assaults a police officer tries to grab his gun and gets shot.

The police officers story is confirmed by BLACK witnesses for the Grand Jury (CNN) so no charges are brought. Yet because the dead criminal is a black officer facts don't matter to those who want to play the race card.

That officer was right to shoot the highly dangerous criminal. It was legal, the grand Jury said their wasn't even a case to answer. Black people burn down their own town in protest.  How stupid is that?

I see Dianne Abbott MP' has stepped up. I would have thought having the facts she just might NOT have. Hardly tactful at this time Diane? You might just encourage IT over here Diane. Then she never was tactful.

In the case which caused the "riots", the cop was faced with a difficult situation which all started because the lad who was shot and his friend were walking in the middle of the road and the shot lad reacted with hostility. Before the cop even got out of the car, expletives were used and when the cop tried to get out of his car, the lad slammed it shut. Then the cop was hit in the face.

Things escalated because the lad was heavily built and was 6'3" and over 20 stones, the cop was slightly built and I think he was 6'4". As things move on the lad was threatening causing the cop to draw his gun and the lad said that the cop was too much of a....... I dunno what the word used was to shoot him. Then the lad grabbed the top of the gun.

Would you grab a gun held by a cop? The cop isn't even out of the car at that stage. The lad is trying to get his finger inside the trigger guard and the cop thinks that if the lad gets the gun, he'll be shot. After two misfires (gun just clicked) the gun goes off twice and the lad runs off. Now the cop gets out of the car and calls him to come back. The lad stops, the cop tells him to get on the ground, the lad then takes a run at the cop so the cop fires.

What would YOU have done. The colour doesn't enter the argument.

I think the cop was very brave cos I'd have shot the begger well before that!.
