And may I be the first! 😄
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
If a person wants to cover their body and dye their faces with colourful tattoos, or adorn themselves with fluffy trinkets then so be it they are in control of how they want to look but to do this to a dog will seriously affect how other dogs behave around it and they are more than likely to attack it because they do not recognise its scent or image it will be like throwing a kitten into a pack of wolves.
Dyeing dog’s hair can be physically and psychologically harmful to the dog. The chemicals in the dyes can cause skin irritation, chemical burns, and even nausea and vomiting if ingested.
Psychologically, a dog cannot process what has been done because it is an extreme and unnatural process that is out of their control.
These are animals not just a canvas for someone to carry out their artistic perversions for pleasure. If these "artists" want to be creative then do it with innate objects not living creatures.
Yep! Angry face coming up! X-(

Of course on the cruelty to animals side I think everyone in their right mind would agree, it's not a good thing to do.
On the artistic side, two things impressed me, the colours are so beautiful and I thought the fact that as the dog wagged his tail, Mickey's hand would be waving. I just think that would look so hilarious!! :^O
OK, so I'm sad!!

My late ex mother in law used to perm her yorkshire terrier. No wonder it bit people.

:O:^O:_| just about sums it up for me!
mitzi, they most likely use vegetable dyes... no one in their right mind would use chemical dyes, not even mad American competition entrants...

They should all be disqualified from the competition, as that is NOT dog grooming.

It's what happens when people start competing, the animal often is just a means to an end.
