Always so very sad, and such a loss when anyone loses a good friend.
I wasn't with you all here on The Round Table when EMB was posting, but I can tell how much he meant to everyone.
May he Rest in Peace.

I am gutted to learn of Embsie's passing. When they talk about the good old days of RT he was right there in the middle of it wth his side-kick Logs. They were so hilarious together. Nothing and no-one was sacred . Behind all the sharp wit and humour lived a very kind and wise man who loved his life and his family. I loved his banter and our long running on/off 'relationship'. He brought light into my life during some very dark times and behind the scenes he was a real friend who gave me his shoulder to cry on.............before he kicked my ass and told me to 'buck up and get his tea on'. He is a massive loss to RT, to Phoenicks and all the other on-line places he used to lay his hat. We will miss you so much Embsie but oh what fun we had. Thanks for the lovely memories. xxxxx

Excuse me Prims, I think you will find he was MY sidekick not the other way round, how FH&G used to dread our excursions, Q&A never used to look forward to them either.

I stand korrectid oh glorious one. I'm just not feeling mesen today................I remember those days, nothing but teasing and lots of laughter. Do you remember how' we used to hire a charabang and go off on day trips.' Those WERE the days. There are a lot of forums and groups which will be so much poorer without him. xx

Such sad news Logs.
I remember EMB, I just thought he had migrated to another corner of the net like many others.
I will raise a glass with you Logs, and my thoughts are with his family at this time.

I did not have much contact with EMB but loved reading his posts, the world is a much sadder place for him passing.
Rest In Peace EMB with the knowledge you were a shining light here and for everyone that knew you and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

I would like to send each and every one of these members, new and old who knew EMB my deepest sympathy. He was a one of a kind who could make you laugh and always had the time of day for you. Deepest sympathy to you Logbox, when you and EMB were posting together the forums would light up with laughter, wit and knowledge. He will be greatly missed. RIP EMB

So shocked and very sad to read this.
He was a great guy, full of fun and witty banter. I miss those days on Fick Corner and on the Bard thread where lots of us wrote silly rhymes, often about each other. Some nights the rhymes would come thick and fast as we raced to get one in for a snipe at the same time (post numbers, not nastiness). RT was so much fun in those days and I'm so glad I found it back then and met some lovely posters like him who made me laugh out loud
He loved Monty Python and I always think of him when I see a MP sketch. For me he was one of the great 'grandads of rock' along with Alan who passed a few years ago.
I'll miss you EMBS/Artful_dodging, and will never forget you. RIP xx

I never lost contact with EMB and we remained in touch by email right up to October. We all had so much fun on here and he was the master of comedy. I never had a reply to my last email and was truly shocked when Logsie emailed me the sad news. I will miss his friendship and all the laughter. May you forever rest in peace, Embsie.
