I hope you do not really believe that you have "no more say over edicts coming from" the elected UK government than from the unelected European Union.

Of course I do - I have just one voice amongst millions - mine, yours nor anyone else's views count for a jot when it comes down to it - we are governed by a party system in this country not a representative democracy and most people seem more than happy to cede their votes to a party rather than someone who will truly represent them or the majority of the electorate.
